I liked the way... you used simple, visually appealing graphics and then fully explained what they represented and how they connected.

One suggestion is... after describing some of the more surprising findings (i.e., some of the variables that weren't connected to engagement as expected), provide either the author's or your own thoughts on why those surprising findings occurred.

I liked the way... you used graphics to help simplify

One suggestion is... a few words might help clarify 🙂

March 25, 2015 -

I liked the way...You were very clear and up front about where the gap in the research existed and why that gap was important and in need of research.
One suggestion is...Perhaps adding some text to your results section to supplement the graphics presented, highlighting the most salient results.

March 25, 2015 -

I liked the way... showed visuals rather the words and described the study. I also appreciated how you summarized the results to highlight the important results, rather than trying to walk through all of their analyses.

One suggestion is... I have no further suggestions. I think Amy did an excellent job explaining the study!

March 25, 2015 -

I liked the way... link between motivation and online learning. interesting implications

One suggestion is... keep up the excellent work 🙂 not easy to do on Zoom.

March 25, 2015 -

I liked the way... you scaffolded the interpretation of the implications viually

One suggestion is... showing figures is great, but you lost me a little bit with the diagrams, as you would have had to explain them more comprehensively for them to make sense

March 25, 2015 -

I liked the way...you incorporated similar diagrams and simple artwork to connect to what you were saying, very effective.

One suggestion is... no major suggestion, certainly good for a 5 minute presentation.

March 25, 2015 -

I liked your graphics. They were super easy to follow.

One suggestion is operationally define your motivational variables (if I had to pick something).

March 25, 2015 -

I liked the way... you described the methods and the results in detail; you knew what the figures were discussing despite (seemingly) not having any notes up there

One suggestion is...

March 25, 2015 -

I liked the way you used graphics to depict the different steps of the process.

One suggestion is talk more about the sample.

March 25, 2015 -

I liked the way... you did a good job clearly describing the gap in research that led to the need for the present study.

One suggestion is... walking the audience a little more specifically through the graphic so this useful information isn't missed if we aren't sure exactly what we are seeing in the graph.

March 25, 2015 -

I liked your entire presentation really . . . specifically your visuals were pretty awesome and made the presentation highly accessible.

One suggestion is... while the flow chart was a nice addition, it's really tough to get to during the quick presentation. Overall though, awesome job!

March 25, 2015 -

I liked the way...you highlighted directions for future research and clearly explained the model.

One suggestion is...to somehow better clarify the methods--it was hard to understand, though I think if the visual had worked out (not your fault, I know!) it would have been easier to understand.

March 4, 2015 -

I liked the way...you used the powerpoint as a nice framework for your discussion of the article.

One suggestion is...perhaps incorporating more summative/salient information for the results section.

March 4, 2015 -

I liked the way... you introduced the study. And your intro visuals were really strong.

One suggestion is... The ending visuals were small (though you mentioned that) and it was hard to read results . . . but was that a result of the screen? Still you did a really nice job!

February 11, 2015 -

I liked the way... used a diagram to explain the need and primary research questions. I also like how you noted important qualities of the sample used in this study. Your animations made it clear for us to understand a complicated model!

One suggestion is... possibly use more visuals to make the presentation more engaging. Spend less time discussing the Methods and more time talking about Results, Conclusions, and Implications. Discuss more practical implications as well. How will this be useful in educational settings?

February 11, 2015 -

I like the way you presented the models and highlighted relevant pathways as they relate to research questions.
One suggestion is none honestly. I think it was great!

January 21, 2015 -

I liked the way... the presentation arguments built on each other. interesting topic and very timely with online learning.

One suggestion is... N/A

January 21, 2015 -

I liked the way...you highlighted just the key points on each slide. Your presentation was very clear and easy to understand. Really great job!

One suggestion is...I think I may have missed what "non-posting" activities were at the beginning, so that is likely my fault. But, maybe reiterate key words like this throughout the presentation for people who may not be as familiar?
