I liked the way your interest and passion comes through on this topic, and how you presented the (complex) logic of the study

One suggestion is that when presenting complex findings, to focus in on a few instead of presenting them all.

I liked the way...
- summarized the methods, which were complex
- emphasized the unique methodology (two studies) of this study
One suggestion is...
- highlight significant relationships on path analysis chart

I liked the way you were able to pace and keep time. I felt like your distribution of what you wanted to talk about was well done. The information you were reporting on was for the importance was easy to understand. The delivery was done well, I also felt the limitations was well communicated. Good visual aids.

One suggestion is to provide a little more of what you can understand about the results numbers - any summary statements of the tables or charts.

I liked the way... you managed time. I also liked the way you mixed your evaluation of the study with the presentation of the study (e.g., theory, limits of theory; sample, limits of sample)

One suggestion is... be careful about using the term, "causation model," as very idiosyncratic. Better to say, "according to theory / logic model..." Also, when presenting theory, remember why, not just how - e.g., why is faculty-student interaction increase engagement?

06/27/2018 -

I liked the way...
you paced your time through each of the key points
you thoroughly discussed your concerns about the limitations of the study
you exude passion for your topic - it really draws in your audience

One suggestion is... to spend a bit more time focusing on the data analysis done that led to the conclusions; this would allow insight into how the researchers came to their conclusions

You did a great job of introducing the topic and structuring your whole presentation. It was interesting and easy to follow, and the importance of the research was very clear.

Only suggestion is tighter time management (but this is really tough for this assignment).

06/25/2018 -

I liked the way... your visual aids limited the number of words and used images, figures and illustrations to convey your points.

One suggestion is... Keep working on time! You hit methods hard this time, but left no time for helping us understand the study's limitations and significance, which are key lest we conclude this is another brick!

06/25/2018 -

I liked the way...you managed your time very well.

One suggestion is... I had trouble understanding how the results and the conclusion were derived from the method of research.

06/22/2018 -

I liked the way...you very clearly explained the limitation introduced through non-random assignment to conditions.

One suggestion is... to make sure and define your key terms for your audience (I am thinking especially experiential learning).

06/22/2018 -

I liked the way...You clearly detailed the problems with the self-selection problem inherent in this study.

One suggestion is... In a presentation this short, you do not have time for an extensive "hook" - like the 'watch for hints' strategy.

06/22/2018 -

I liked the way you delivered the presentation in such a passionate and animated way - it was clear that you are very invested in this. Terrific job detailing the limitations of the secondary data and specifically why it was "tainted."

One suggestion is to give a bit more time setting up what experiential learning is, what previous research has suggested about it, and its potential in the field.
